Defense Minister Guido Crosetto has been married to Gaia Saponaro for over 20 years. Recently, the weekly magazine Novella 2000 published photos showing the two in intimate poses at the beach.
“Love Without Defense” is the title of the article, which shows the Defense Minister embracing his life partner while both are in their swimsuits. These sweet and beautiful shots immediately went viral online, capturing the two lovebirds in this intimate moment.
But while the photos are beautiful, the Defense Minister himself doesn’t see it that way, expressing his disappointment over the matter. His words are very strong. “A weekly magazine is circulating on social media with photos taken from my privacy,” Crosetto said, adding:

“It’s happened to others, and I keep my anger to myself. I can’t keep it to myself over comments about my wife. We’ve been together for 20 years. We’re married, with two children. Is she much prettier than me? Yes, true!” – these are the minister’s words.
Crosetto himself had already been judged in some way in connection with his wife. “Ten days ago, I posted a photo with my wife that drew many surprised and sarcastic comments. So I’m sharing one without me, along with some information: we’ve been together for 15 years, married, with two children, she’s from Puglia and wealthy. She has a great sense of humor and loves horror,” – this is what the Defense Minister said some time ago when photos of him and his wife were published.
A former volleyball player and artistic gymnast, Gaia Saponaro is originally from Puglia. Her relationship with the Minister of Defense in the Meloni government dates back to 2005, the year the two fell in love.
